How to "make money" at CVS while getting free deodorant
I saw a preview of the May Extra Care booklet on Hot Coupon World. One of the specials for the month of May: get 4.99 in extra care bucks when you buy Adidas Action 3 antiperspirant for 4.99. Limit 3. In other words, you can get 3 free after extra care bucks.
I also have a subscription to All You magazine, which has great coupons in it. Single issues can be purchased exclusively at Walmart, in the checkout lanes where they have the tabloids. A single issue costs 1.77.
In the May 30 issue of All You (pink & yellow cover), there is a coupon for a FREE Adidas Action 3 product, up to 4.99. So, you can get the deodorant, use the coupon to get it free (you may have to pay tax), and then get 4.99 in extra bucks - a $3.22 profit if you bought the magazine for the coupon! I bought 2 extra copies of this issue to take full advantage of this moneymaker. Too bad CVS doesn't carry the magazine!

You all are amazing. Adie was figuring the return on $17 out of pocket this current year for donating the goods to Must Ministries, and she came up with over 1000% return. These are marvelous ways to stretching the limited budget.

I edited the post to add a picture of the issue I'm talking about. It is the issue after the purple one. My Walmart had it out at the beginning of the week, but it is a brand new issue so some may not have it displayed yet.

Thanks for the tip! I wasn't paying close attention and went to Walmart to get the magazine and picked up the May 2nd edition - the one with the purple cover. It is NOT the right one, and although it has a coupon for Addidas deodorant in it it's only $1 off and it expired 4/30. I'm guessing the next edition is the one I want? Any idea when that one will be on the shelf at Walmart?
Thanks so much for the info - even though I got the wrong one there are still a lot of coupons in there that I'll use! What a great mag!

I have a copy of the All You magazine for May 2, but it has a purple cover. Is the right magazine before or after that one? Is it one I can still pick up at Walmart? Thanks!
